2024 Summer Rec Program at Page School

                                      The West Newbury Summer Recreational Program will be returning, once again, for the Summer of 2024!

The program is offered at the Page School for children who will be entering Grades 1-7. Older children who will be entering 8th & 9th grade and are interested in being a CIT may also apply to attend HERE. There will be six individual weekly sessions. The program will run from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Early drop off is available daily between 8:30 - 8:55, at $5/day or $20 for the entire week. Weekly rate includes a program t-shirt and field trip fees. 

Sessions & Dates: dates are subject to change due to unforeseen snow days
Session 1: Monday June 17-Friday June 21 
Session 2: Monday June 24-Friday June 28
Session 3: Monday July 1-Wednesday July 3 & Friday July 5  *reduced weekly rate of $130*
Session 4: Monday July 8-Friday July 12
Session 5: Monday July 15-Friday July 19
Session 6: Monday July 22-Friday July 26

Field Trips Include: subject to change
Week 1: Canobie Lake *extended hours to 3:30 for field trip 
Week 2: WN Fire Department/Picnic/Action Cove 
Week 3: Cedarland Haverhill (Amazement and Ice Cream)
Week 4: Movies
Week 5: Bowling & Pizza
Week 6: Launch Trampoline Park 

Before Care Information:
Early drop off is available between 8:30a.m-8:55a.m at $5/per day or $20/week. 

After Care Information:
NO AFTER CARE IS PROVIDED.

Cost:
$160 per week with the exception of week 3, which has a reduced rate of $130 for the 4-day week. Price includes a non-refundable $25 registration fee. A 50% deposit will be required at time of sign up to hold your spot(s). If you have not paid your deposit, the participant is NOT registered. If for any reason an enrolled child cannot come for a week that they have already paid for, the registration fee will not be refunded. Full payment is due the MONDAY before the start of the next session. For example, full payment for the first session, June 17-June 21, is due on Monday, June 10. If payment is not received, your spot(s) will be forfeited. Price includes t-shirt and field trip. There is a 10% discount for each additional family member that is signed up within the same session. If you are planning to or have already applied for a scholarship, at checkout, please select "PRINT A PRE-REGISTRATION FORM." Once completed, please send an email to wnsummerrec@gmail.com to confirm your spot(s) with one of the Co-Directors.

Behavior Protocol:
West Newbury Rec has a ZERO TOLERANCE for bullying, inappropriate behavior or language, and cell phone use. Participants are expected to be kind, inclusive, safe, and respectful to other participants, Rec CIT's & staff. If not, the below protocol will be followed:

1. Warning from a staff member
2. Take a break/space
3. Meet and talk with assistant director or director
4. Phone call home to parent to come pick up
5. If repeated, the child will be asked not to return to Summer Rec


CIT Behavior Protocol:
